Nahoko Komori

After graduating from high school in Tokyo, I studied fashion in Los Angeles.
I was exposed to a colorful world with a different mix of races and cultures from Japan, and I naturally thought, "Everyone can express themselves more, and I want to make clothes that people can enjoy as if they were wearing a dress.

I have worked in the apparel industries in Los Angeles and Tokyo, got married, and became a mother.

I opened "nuinuikobo," a sewing class for making baby clothes, to tell the warmth of handmade clothes and the joy of making them ourselves , which is different from the ones that are automatically made in a factory.

Few years later, I decided that I wanted to enjoy myself again through clothes, not only for kids, but also for myself as a mom, so I launched my handmade clothing  brand "Napowa.”It is also my pleasure to create with my own hands.

I pursue what I love and create clothes that bring out the beauty and joy in life.
